A lot about a baby boy named Alex, a good amount about life and a bit about the rest.
Who I am:
I'm Allison Barton, a 25-year old mother and Registered Nurse. I'm highly literal, occasionally moody, obsessed with Burt's Bees and compulsive about spreading butter perfectly onto toast. I am a wanna-be-Geek, loving all things Apple, and I hate competing with my friends. I am immensely loyal, not fastidious, and love to cook.

My Family:
I live with my wonderful partner, Zach, and our beautiful baby boy, Alexander. Alex was born on August 28, 2007. He is the most amazing little person that I could have ever imagined knowing. Zach is a software engineer and hopes Alex will love computers as much as he does. We live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

My god, Allison. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- Alex is such a handsome and bright-eyed kid. Some babies out there just drool, but Alex seems so aware and engaged with the world. I can barely begin to express how much I love seeing these pictures and reading these stories. In addition, I can tell you really love being a mom, and that warms my cockles*, too.
