But don’t worry, I think that “no cuddling” thing is just a phase. They are so excited when they start to move that they no longer can stand being held. They just want to GO!!!!!!

Just remember that phrase “it is just a phase” throughout all his childhood. Because it is unbelievable how much kids change. Just when you think you figured them out, they do a 180 on you.

Since I weaned him, when I hold him, he only wants to climb on me. *sigh*

Oh well, I’ve usually found that they hit a snuggly stage around 18 mos-2 years. I can wait!

Our babies are so close in age. J’s original due date was Sep. 9th. He came a month early almost to the day (8/10)! He is only in the 3-5 percentiles. He’s a tiny fella, but so full of energy. He has a little tuft of hair (as you saw) and one little crooked tooth. So cute . . . I’m hoping he’ll grow out of his runt stage (takes after me for now) and get some height and some meat on his bones!

I’m excited each and every day that we are actually doing something right!

Here is to hoping you are able to squeeze in those cuddles!!!
