Who I am:
I'm Allison Barton, a 22-year old new mother and student. I'm highly literal, occasionally moody, obsessed with Burt's Bees and compulsive about spreading butter perfectly onto toast. I am a wanna-be-Geek, loving all things Apple, and I hate competing with my friends. I am immensely loyal, not fastidious, and love to cook.
This is me:

My Family:
I live with my wonderful partner, Zach, and our beautiful baby boy, Alexander. Alex was born on August 28, 2007. He is the most amazing little person that I could have ever imagined knowing. Zach is a software engineer and hopes Alex will love computers as much as he does. We live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
This is my family:
Aren't they adorable?

What I Like:
I love Biology and all things related to health. I love baking cookies and bread from scratch, and trying new recipes. Shopping gives me pleasure, especially when I can buy things on clearance. I like warm weather, sunny days, and spending time outside. I love traveling and spending time with my family.

I love the detail in this shot! So cool!
What a fun shot! From so young they still choose the carbs over the vegges! I love it!
Allison, This is a gorgeous shot! But you know that already don’t you!?
Hi Allison. This picture hits me at an emotional level. I’ve always loved taking pictures of people’s hands…they say so much about who we are. Our kids hands? Even better.
I’ve got a new thing going on on my blog, and I hope you’ll pop by and give it a shot. It’s called Thematic Photographic. Here’s a link to the most recent entry (theme is snack food):

I’ll be posting a new theme later on Wednesday, and hope you’ll drop by and give it a whirl.
All the best,
Carmi
Love the colors. The little fingers and accompanying food is so precious.
Sweet, simple picture.
Cute shot. I remember when my son’s hands were smaller than mine. Not any more!
Happy WW!
Cool picture! The green and yellow really stand out.
The peas remind me of when my son stuck peas up his nose. I wonder how many kids have done that.
Such small hands.
And I love the green and yellow shapes, very sharp.
Happy WW!
Talk about the beauty and simplicity of our babies and life. It just doesn’t get any better.
Happy WW!

What a great photo!
Great list, mine is up at 13 Not So Famous Last Words; Most Americans die peacefully in their beds, but for those who die violently one can only guess what their final words must have been. I think that after you read these you will have to agree that they do indeed sound like they might have been the last words of those who did not go peacefully into the night.
