Uhh… Alex… I think you have a little something right… um… everywhere. Sadly, he’s not likely to get much better at feeding himself. He’s male. *huge wink!*

he can just save that stuff on his face for a late morning snack. giggle.

  13. on June 25, 2008 at 2:56 am clarence

It’s always so exciting when they start doing these things for themselves - although it can be so messy! He’s got beautiful blue eyes.

  23. on June 25, 2008 at 11:02 am Faith

I love that! The little blob in between his eyes and that precious look on his face is great!

  24. on June 25, 2008 at 11:08 am Burgh Baby

You can still see his mouth, so I would call that a success!

  25. on June 25, 2008 at 11:22 am Raven

Such blue eyes! I think there’s something wonderful about kid’s total 5 sense way of experiencing a meal - even though it’s probably not that much fun to clean up after it.

  26. on June 25, 2008 at 1:32 pm Cute Baby

OMG, what a cutie! Is that oatmeal or applesauce? Too cute. Here is our WW! hope you enjoy.

Pictures of babies eating and learning to enjoy their food — even if it ends up all over them — are absolutely adorable and wonderful.

    Adorable. He looks so proud.

  29. on June 25, 2008 at 2:50 pm Ginny

What a cutie! Those days are long gone from our home (at least I hope so, seeing that my kids are aged 22, 14, & 11), but your picture brought back memories.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving such a lovely comment. I appreciate the encouragement and look forward to seeing what you come up with. I can see that you are already a wonderful photographer and have great subjects to work with.
    Be blessed.
    Ginny

What a beautiful face! I especially like the blob between the his eyes.

    My WW is here.

  31. on June 25, 2008 at 4:01 pm Erin

What was he eating? Looks like refried beans! Such a cutie even when he is all messy! I am surprised he didn’t get it in his hair.

  32. on June 25, 2008 at 4:01 pm Kim @ What's That Smell?

    That is too cute!

My daughter has finally started holding her own bottle and she thinks it’s a game. She sucks in and then pulls the bottle out so the milk goes all down her face!

  33. on June 25, 2008 at 4:22 pm Sherri

    Adorable! Happy WW.

  43. on June 25, 2008 at 7:45 pm Karen

Yes I can! You never said anything about where the food was supposed to go ;-) … LOL so cute. That is definitely a keeper to show later in life.

Thank you for your comment on my WW today. Have a great day!

  44. on June 25, 2008 at 7:51 pm WillThink4Wine

Now, that’s just the most adorable thing I’ve seen all day! Hi, Alex!

Oh, and don’t worry about spreading your butter so perfectly on your toast, or anything else for that matter. Seriously? Bigger things will surface. You should rest up now while you have time to prepare. Have a Blessed Day!

  45. on June 25, 2008 at 10:32 pm Carrie

Messy is adorable sometimes, isn’t it? :)

  46. on June 26, 2008 at 12:48 am Junebug

Messy but doing it his way! Hey, I love Burt’s Bees too, especially the Baby Burt’s Bee’s stuff like the buttermilk bath and soap for babies. Oh it smells so good. Also like Apple computers and my daughter’s dog is named “Apple.” She (the dog) is a dapple-skinned dachsund. :D

  47. on June 26, 2008 at 2:27 am Steffi

This is really cute! And the food is not even in his hair, so i think he was doing pretty good… :) Thanks for stopping by!
    Happy WW
