Who I am:
I'm Allison Barton, a 22-year old new mother and student. I'm highly literal, occasionally moody, obsessed with Burt's Bees and compulsive about spreading butter perfectly onto toast. I am a wanna-be-Geek, loving all things Apple, and I hate competing with my friends. I am immensely loyal, not fastidious, and love to cook.
This is me:

My Family:
I live with my wonderful partner, Zach, and our beautiful baby boy, Alexander. Alex was born on August 28, 2007. He is the most amazing little person that I could have ever imagined knowing. Zach is a software engineer and hopes Alex will love computers as much as he does. We live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
This is my family:
Aren't they adorable?

What I Like:
I love Biology and all things related to health. I love baking cookies and bread from scratch, and trying new recipes. Shopping gives me pleasure, especially when I can buy things on clearance. I like warm weather, sunny days, and spending time outside. I love traveling and spending time with my family.

Foreboding, but beautiful…
Wow… incredible. Very cool shot.
Looks like a lot of the weather we’ve been getting here in Florida. The best part of clouds like that are when they actually start pouring rain. I could watch a downpour for hours.
Storm brewing?
Nice shot!
Yikes! Great shot. Happy WW! http://tinyurl.com/59ej9a
Gorgeous, if rather ominous sky… the kind I like to look at but want to see moving in the opposite direction. Lovely shot.
Amazing and scary all at once! I do love afternoon showers though
Looks pretty powerful. You could send it into the Cloud Appreciation Society.

Great picture- we have been getting hit a bit ourselves. A storm trashed my lilies this weekend in fact and threw them to the ground. Happy WW.
Hmn…rain!
this seems to be a really big storm… but nice shot.
Wow. I hope you were close to shelter.:) Great shot!
Great picture! It has been so dry here, I wish we could see some of those clouds.
This looks like the exact same cloud that passed over me a week or so ago!

Methinks that would definitely qualify for the title “foreboding” sky!!!! Wow!
Happy WW!
Beautiful shot. I love storms at night. During the day, not so much.
Summer storms. Gotta love em!
well the warning can prevent you from getting wet but does not stop it does it?
Great photo. Rain, not so great. I hear more is coming for the weekend!
The majesty of those clouds is awe inspiring.
COOL SHOT. SCAREY looking storm. (Jane’s Blog)
Oh my, it looks like it is going to pour. We have had so many thunderstorms this year.
Looks like quite a storm. Thanks for sharing such a beauty of a picture.
Great shot. I miss storms tremendously. I didn’t think I would, but I do.
wooo-weee! that’s quite a storm brewing. great capture!
I could almost hear it rumbling. Great shot!
Happy WW and that was an inspiring comment you left for me. Thanks for visiting!
Seriously scary.
Great capture! And thanks for the wonderful comment on my own WW.
Have a great Holiday! See you next week.
Oh, I love a good storm! I find the picture makes me want to take a nap. I am sure you did, but did you notice the little “light” in the midst of the trees? Very interesting.
Also, I posted a comment on your previous post. This is a MAJOR petpeeve of mine as well!
Happy WW!
Awesome picture! Looks like a big thunderstorm.
Oh that does look ominous! Great shot!
So beautiful, and almost scary at the same time.. looks like that was a big storm. Happy WW!
Oh, wow. What a great shot!
Thanks for dropping by, have a great WW day!
My post…
That is really something!
Great shot! I love a good storm, we really need one of those. Thanks for stopping by and happy WW!
the clouds look like they’re going to pour any moment now!
great shot!
Great shot. I love it. We actually have some crazy storms coming through Michigan this very moment. Guess I shouldn’t be on the computer. LOL! Happy WW.
That is a really incredible shot. We’ve had some wild weather here in the last two weeks too. It is amazing how quickly these storms can blow in.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by. Happy WW!
I LOVE thunderstorms - what a cool shot!!
On an unrelated note, I also love Burt’s Bees (from your Who I am section). I could NOT live without them.
Thanks for stopping by, happy WW!
eerie but beautiful
thanks for the visit!
I love skyscapes and this one is just amazing. Happy WW!
Great pic! Gotta love WW!
Great shot! Looks a lot like what’s been rolling in here in Colorado.
…and I’m complaining about the clouds on the London sky
It looks as if you had a thunder storm coming your way
Great shot of the clouds!
When you can actually see the frontal boundary you know you’re in for it. “Incoming” indeed! Nice catch!
What a fantastic shot of the storm front — I’m totally jealous…I can never get such definition in the clouds in my shots!
Oh, that looks ominous. But I bet it was exhilarating (I love storms).
