A lot about a baby boy named Alex, a good amount about life and a bit about the rest.
Who I am:
I'm Allison Barton, a 24-year old mother and recent graduate from nursing school. I'm highly literal, occasionally moody, obsessed with Burt's Bees and compulsive about spreading butter perfectly onto toast. I am a wanna-be-Geek, loving all things Apple, and I hate competing with my friends. I am immensely loyal, not fastidious, and love to cook.

I live with my wonderful partner, Zach, and our beautiful baby boy, Alexander. Alex was born on August 28, 2007. He is the most amazing little person that I could have ever imagined knowing. Zach is a software engineer and hopes Alex will love computers as much as he does. We live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

I’ve been trying to figure it out forever… what is he eating? It looks like candy corn, but surely that’s not it. OH! It’s strawberries, cut up! Right?
Anyway, he looks very happy with whatever it is. And those are, indeed, beautiful blue eyes.
