Wow! That is so sharp! Did you take this photo, really? I’ve never managed to get a good shot at a zoo, much to my immense frustration. Animals should be such photo-worthy subjects, but I just can’t manage it. You did.
So come see my animal-like driftwood… this I can manage. Happy WW!

Wow, I second that – I’ve never gotten good shots at the zoo – which is why we don’t go… The animals are generally too far away!
Welcome back!! Hope you get back to normal soon!
I captured my WW butterfly in my own backyard (front yard actually). I was surprised to even see one, let alone that I got it on “film” – well pixels. *smirk*
Now that’s one cooool cat. You got the essential element of wildlife photography in this one: the eyes. If you can get those, you’ve got your shot. Nice job focusing through the fence too. Not always an easy task.
Nicely done, and thanks for stopping by! -Mojo
Beautiful animal… but it also made me feel a little sad to think that some day zoos may be the only places where big cats like this one are safe from poaching and other dangers to their health and habitat.
I'm Allison Barton, a 23-year old mother and nursing student. I'm highly literal, occasionally moody, obsessed with Burt's Bees and compulsive about spreading butter perfectly onto toast. I am a wanna-be-Geek, loving all things Apple, and I hate competing with my friends. I am immensely loyal, not fastidious, and love to cook.
This is me:
My Family:
I live with my wonderful partner, Zach, and our beautiful baby boy, Alexander. Alex was born on August 28, 2007. He is the most amazing little person that I could have ever imagined knowing. Zach is a software engineer and hopes Alex will love computers as much as he does. We live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
This is my family:
Aren't they adorable?
What I Like:
I love Biology and all things related to health. I love baking cookies and bread from scratch, and trying new recipes. Shopping gives me pleasure, especially when I can buy things on clearance. I like warm weather, sunny days, and spending time outside. I love traveling and spending time with my family.
Beautiful picture, Allison! What a great catch.
Thanks for dropping by, hope you have a great WW day!
