The protest was a success. About 500 people showed up, marched around Oakland, and at least 20 people gave speeches. Many of the stories were beautiful, and many were very painful.

I live with my wonderful partner, Zach, and our beautiful baby boy, Alexander. Alex was born on August 28, 2007. He is the most amazing little person that I could have ever imagined knowing. Zach is a software engineer and hopes Alex will love computers as much as he does. We live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
