What everyone says is right: they grow up so fast. The first two years are unbelievable. Before you can blink, they will change.
My little baby will be 19 months old tomorrow.
In one year he went from having two bottom teeth and his fangs, to having a mouth full of teeth. My little vampire has turned into a little man.
When did this happen, and how do I make it stop?
I'm Allison Barton, a 25-year old mother and Registered Nurse. I'm highly literal, occasionally moody, obsessed with Burt's Bees and compulsive about spreading butter perfectly onto toast. I am a wanna-be-Geek, loving all things Apple, and I hate competing with my friends. I am immensely loyal, not fastidious, and love to cook.

I live with my wonderful partner, Zach, and our beautiful baby boy, Alexander. Alex was born on August 28, 2007. He is the most amazing little person that I could have ever imagined knowing. Zach is a software engineer and hopes Alex will love computers as much as he does. We live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

I have no idea. I tried looking for a solution in the manual . . . nothing.

I have no idea. Maybe there’s a footnote in that elusive parenting instruction manual that comes with the baby?
