Alex: I takin’ my temp-ture!
Me: Oh yeah? Do you have a fever?
Alex: Yeah.
Me: What is your temperature?
Alex: Ninety-four!
It was still 94 when I asked him again later.
Kids. They amuse me.

Maggie does that with the tape measure. She measures herself (or me, or the couch, or the table, or whatever) and first, everything was ‘Forty-TEN!’ Which was hilarious. Lately everything has been in the forties, but real numbers this time (forty-four, forty-six, etc) With time, it’s always ‘Five-oh-five’.
You are right, kids are amusing
