About Me
This is my (abridged) story:
I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I went to Winchester Thurston, a private K-12 school, graduated, and attended Smith College. During my third year, I managed to accelerate a semester. So, it was during my second to last semester (the end of my third year) that I found out that I was unexpectedly pregnant.
Alex was born in late August, ten days past his due date, and he is the love of my life. He is beautiful, charming, clever, and oh so sweet.
I live in Pittsburgh with my partner, Zach. He recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. He now works at Google Pittsburgh!
I have successfully finished my Smith degree! I will be starting nursing school at University of Pittsburgh this fall. In one year, I will complete my second Bachelors degree and be able to work as an R.N. Once I figure out what I want to specialize in (so far the contesters are Women’s Health, Midwifery, Pediatric and Neo-natal) I’ll go on to get my Masters in Nursing and become a Nurse Practitioner.
