This is my (abridged) story:
I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I went to Winchester Thurston, a private K-12 school, graduated, and attended Smith College. During my third year, I managed to accelerate a semester. So, it was during my second to last semester (the end of my third year) that I found out that I was unexpectedly pregnant.
Alex was born in late August, ten days past his due date, and he is the love of my life. He is beautiful, charming, clever, and oh so sweet.
I live in Pittsburgh with my partner, Zach. He graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University. He works for Apple, here in Pittsburgh.
I now have a degree in Biology from Smith, and a Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh. Currently, I’m a pediatric research nurse.
