A few years ago I started a blog, which contained funny things that happened to me or the people I knew, musings on life and current events, and occasionally a funny image or video. Mostly, though, I didn’t post. I couldn’t keep up with it, even though I desperately wanted to have a place where I could share my world. I only had my domain name for a year, and overall it was a waste of money.
Now that I have a very different life than I did back then, I am hoping that I can find the time, energy, and motivation to maintain this blog. If I can manage to do that for, oh, two months, I’ll consider purchasing my domain name.
For now, here is a short introduction to my life: I was entering my second to last semester of College when I realized that I was unexpectedly pregnant. I finished up the semester and came back to live with my amazingly supportive, wonderfully intelligent, beautiful and kind partner, Zach, and gave birth to a healthy baby boy we named Alexander.
He is now 6 months old, and is without a doubt the most amazing person I have ever known. He goes in for his six month check-up on Monday, so I’ll have some updated statistics then. At his four month appointment he was 27 inches tall (97th percentile!) and 15 pounds 5 ounces. Long and lean, like his daddy.
I’m finishing up my degree here in Pittsburgh, and when Zach, Alex, and I relocate to Mountain View, California, this summer I will be able to continue my education by getting a nursing degree.
Here is my beautiful son:
